🏫 Westmont School Districts at a Glance
Planning a move to Chicago’s Western Suburbs with school age children? The Village of Westmont sits 25 miles west of the city along the BNSF Metra line so is a popular choice with people in the know who want to stay pretty close to the city but enjoy the ease of a strong suburban public school system.
Westmont is a bit unique in the zoning for schools and families may be served by six great public districts, including one of three elementary/middle districts and one of two high‑school districts (with 2 high schools in each), or one K–12 district:
– Maercker School District 60 (PK–8)
– Community Unit School District 201 (PK–12)
– Elementary Districts 58 & 61 (few areas border Westmont)
– High School District 86 and District 99 (for select zones)
Here is an overview of the most relevant ones: Maercker 60, CUSD 201, District 86, and District 99. Just reach out to Kelly for help if you aren’t sure where the home you are interested in might attend!
